Gondar Family Project

On 7 December 2019 we launched the long anticipated Gondar Family Project. The initiative that will link 5,000 first year students from the University of Gondar with families from the city of Gondar is a first of its kind at UoG. The Project is bound to create an atmosphere of peace and family which will reverberate across the country.

Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR)

The University of Gondar has one of the oldest Community Based Rehabilitation Programs in the country. The aim of community-based rehabilitation is to help people with disabilities, by establishing community-based medical integration, equalization of opportunities, and Physical therapy rehabilitation programs for disabled people.

Mastercard Foundation

The University of Gondar (Ethiopia) and Queen’s University (Canada), supported by the Mastercard Foundation, have developed a 10-year partnership to advance inclusive higher education for young people with disabilities and disadvantages. The Program aims to cultivate the country's and continent's next generation transformative leaders.
