Facilities and Services
The directorate office is located at Atse Tewodros campus.
The office has internet connection, desk top computer, phone and different organized files and folders. The directorate is privileged for project information management system connected to the central server. The system is interconnected to academic staff, ICT and team under vice president for research and technology transfer. In addition, UIL and TT directorate deliver several services. The UoG –STEM has three buildings, in which labs, offices, symposium room, and workshops are furnished. Internet connections, generator and lab equipment are among facilities of the center, which enable to serve students and teachers. Lab sessions, outreach (mobile lab), trainings, visit, and kidsprogram are the key services of the center. Students have been participated in various innovation interventions. Mainly prototype innovations are practiced in the center.
Services
3D technologies: Investigators used to print various COVI-19 disease protective tools such as venture value, dispensers, parts of mechanical ventilator, door opener, and different letters.
Website and apps: The directorate of UoG enabled to develop websites for service
provision. Research, technology transfer and community engagement project management system is one of the facilities which deliver services in the office of VPRTT and the academic staff at large. Moreover, e-justice website is developed for Central
Gondar and Gondar city administration justice departments.
Facilities
STEM lab: UoG-STEM center has functional labs including information
technology, mechanics, electronics, and optics. STEM lab serves mainly for natural science high school students and teachers.
