The program can be completed within two academic years and courses are provided in five rounds and thesis work.
- Objectives of the program
The main objective of this program is to produce highly trained graduates in Information Technology that perfectly fit to the demand in the academia, industry, etc.
Admission requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled in order to be admitted into the MSc program in Information Technology:
- Applicants must have:
- BSc degree in Information Technology / Computer Science from the recognized University. or
- BSc degree in related fields: B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Science, Information System and etc. from a recognized University and have taken a minimum of 30 credit hours of Information Technology / Computer Science courses.
- Applicants must meet the general admission policies of the University.
- Applicants are required to have 40% marks (score) for their transcripts / grades / CGPA they scored in their previous or Under Graduate degree level and successfully pass an entrance examination with minimum of 60% score (marks), which will be conducted before registration.

Graduation Requirements and Degree
- Students must complete all the required courses and achieve the required CGPA of 3.0 and complete and defend successfully his/her thesis work to be eligible for graduation. No student can graduate with an “F” and / or “D” grades in any of the courses
A candidate who fulfills graduation requirements shall be awarded the “
Master of Science in Information Technology”.
