
Dr. Tadesse Belayneh Melkie
About
Tadesse Belayneh is a senior non-physician anesthetist and academic staff member (associate professor of clinical anesthesia and public health) at the University of Gondar, Ethiopia. He received his PhD in Public Health (Pelvic Organ Prolapse) from University of Gondar in 2021. His MPH degree in Public Health from the University of Gondar, Ethiopia in 2010; and his BSc degree in Nurse Anesthesia from University of Gondar, Ethiopia in 2006. He is engaged in clinical care, teaching, and research in the fields of women health, anesthesia and perioperative medicine. His research interests focus on perioperative care and outcomes, surgical quality improvement, implementation research, and maternal and surgical health in low-resource settings. Tadesse Belayneh has been engaged in several research projects and produced scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
