On 10 December 2019 the University of Gondar showed its commitment to history and archival findings when they celebrated a launch of a book that put the demarcation of Ethiopia and Sudan in the forefront.

The book entitled “The Boarder of Ethiopia and Sudan and its Historical Process and Lack of Demarcation: Finding Solutions for the Existing Problems” ( ኢትዮጵያና የሱዳን ወሰን ታሪካዊ ሂደቱና አለመካለሉ ለፈጠራቸው ችግሮች የመፍትሔ ሀሳቦች) was officially launched in the presence of many interested guests.

Professor Mulatu Wubneh who is the compiler and author of the book is no stranger to building the intellectual stamina and curiosity of staff and students at the University of Gondar.

The Ambassadors Distinguished Scholar who entered the University of Gondar in 2017 under the ADSP program said he wrote the book so that it will become a foundation and reference for generations to come.
