University of Gondar’s Chemistry Department organizes a Curriculum Review
Today on the 17th of February 2021 the University of Gondar’s Chemistry Department organized a one day curriculum review that would bolster the educational quality and capacity of the university. During the event the Dean of the College of Natural and Computational Sciences Dr. Getenet Masresha welcomed the guests with his remarks. In his address, he shared with those in audience that the college was not always full of students could be remembered as a small unit, but currently it has developed and cultivated numerous intellectuals and could be found teaching many students in many disciplines.

In addition, Dr. KassahunTegene, the Academic Vice President in his opening remarks, expressed his wish to continue on path of excellence. “We are currently a national research University among a few first rank institutions, hence UoG according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education must prioritize quality education for the 3rd degree education in the country” expressed the Academic Vice President. With that being said the University is set on keeping a high level of research output to keep up with the current trend.

Moreover, in the curriculum review numerous participants and stakeholders in the field from the University of Gondar and other institutions are taking part.
