It is a newly launched directorate in September 2019, while the new curriculum is decided to be implemented based on the direction of the Former Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MoSHE) and currently re-named as Ministry of Education (MoE) with the recommendation of Education Road Map. The director is directly accountable to the vice president for academics. It has three campus level coordinators who are directly accountable to it.
Duties and Responsibilities: The directorate has many duties and responsibilities among others the dominant ones are:
- Implementation guidelines which are prepared by the university and at national level by MoE
- Preparation of class schedules and supervision of classes on regular basis
- Deciding the intake capacity of newly assigned student to the university in consultation with other responsible bodies
- Provision of orientations for students in consultation with other responsible bodies
- Preparation of Mid and Final examination schedules
- Follow up of mid and final examination administration and take measures if there are any misconducts
- Facilitation of students placement after the end of first and second semester as per the guideline prepared by MoE
- Communicating with colleges deans about different activities with regard to common courses
- Reporting quarterly, midyear and annual reports
- Performing other additional tasks as per the direction given by vice president for academics
