A platform that highlighted the ingenuity of students when it comes to fighting COVID-19 was held at BDU
The forum was attended by the President of the Amhara National Regional State, Mr. Agew Teshager, the Minister of the Ministry of Health, Her Excellency Dr. Leah Tadesse, the President of the University of Gondar, Dr. Asrat Atsedeweyn, other Amhara Regional State University higher officials, zonal and woreda health institutions and various other stakeholders.
During the forum, the regional health bureau reported on the overall activities of COVID-19 prevention and control. The review focused on COVID-19 and said there was a great deal of neglect in the community and that a campaign was needed.
All Amhara regional universities, including the University of Gondar, have made significant contributions to the prevention of COVID. In the same light all of the institutions presented their contributions that made a sizable difference in the lives of many.
Summing up the event, the University of Gondar was awarded and bestowed a certificate of recognition by the Amhara State Government for the countless works it performed during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
