A seminar on Establishment of Animal Tissue Culture Biotechnology Laboratory as an Extended Department of University of Gondar is given

Professor Seifu Belay, Scientific director and CEO at Bio-T Square LLC in Washington DC, gave a seminar on Establishment of Animal Tissue Culture Biotechnology Laboratory as  an Extended Department of University of Gondar   on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the University of Gondar training hall.
As per the announcement made earlier staff members from department of Biotechnology, Biology, Veterinary Medicine and college of medicine and health sciences have attended the seminar.
Professor Seifu delivered 45 minutes lecture on animal tissue culture where due emphasis is given on the  application of Biotechnology using animal cell culture labrator which includes medicine, pharmaceutical industry, agriculture and environment. The lecture was followed by audiences reflection mentioning that they all are eager to see the realization of Animal Cell Culture Laboratory at the University of Gondar.
Professor Seifu’s team and the participants visited the current laboratory of the department of Biotechnology at the university and suggested that it can be partitioned into four and an animal tissue culture laboratory can be established. During the visited it is discussed how to realize the establishment of the laboratory and all the responsibilities are shared between the department of biotechnology and Professor Seifu’s (T-Square laboratories) team.
