Alumni of University of Gondar re-graduated as part of the keynote celebration of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration

Marking its 60 years of establishment, the University of Gondar colorfully celebrated its 60th year Diamond Jubilee  from July 5, 2014 to July 7, 2014.
One of the  keynote celebration which was held on July 5, 2014 is current students graduates and an alumni graduation. On this day 4135  undergraduate and post graduate students of  the University graduated. Most interestingly, for the first time in higher education history,  close to 500 Alumni has re-graduated. The University so far has contributed more 40, 000 graduates.  This act is considered a pioneer opportunity in creating and strengthening an alumni network.
This high profiled event, which was televised live on TV, is attended by H.E  prime minister Hailemariam Desalegn, Deputy prime minister Demeke Mekonnen, Shiferaw Shigutie and many higher federal , regional, zonal and the cities higher officials.
