Author, playwright and artist Alemtshai Wedajo shares her experience at the University of Gondar

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Theatre Arts Department invited renowned artist Alemtshai Wedajo in a ceremony that commemorated late intellectual Associate Professor Tesfaye Gessesse on 25 December 2020.
The college of Social Science and Humanities dean Dr. Agengew Tesfa expressed that Artist Alemtshai Wedajo has vast experience and a rich history and in his opening remarks he shared that her words and presentations and her sharing her thoughts was much appreciated. On his part the academic vice president Dr. Kassahun Tegene shared that Artist Alemtshai deserves to be honored for her significant contribution to the development of the arts in the country of Ethiopia.
When speaking on the city of Gondar artist Alemtshai stated, “I know Gondar. It is a country of history and culture and its people are hospitable and considerate. She was also glad to see so many young people growing up and learning in different fields of knowledge and skills. She closed by sharing her delight by knowing that the University of Gondar is doing many things concerning the theatre arts.
