Canadian Ethiopians Donate to UoG Hospital
Ethiopian nationals living in Canada have donated 12 kidney dialysis machines worth 13 million birr. Three of them will be donated to Debre Tabor University Hospital.

Today, the President of the University of Gondar visited the machines in the presence of Biomedical Engineer Girma Abebe, who coordinated the support and provided training on the use of the machines, as well as the leadership and health professionals of our hospital.

The number of dialysis users is increasing in Gondar because of Kidney failure. Hence the availability of these vital machines will triple our current service.

When speaking on the donnations Dr. Asrat expressed his delight. “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Engineer Girma Abebe, Ato Endalkachew Teshager, Ato Solomon Ainababa, Mrs. Mane Tezera and Ethiopians and Canadians Ethiopians in Canada and the United States for their support in this endeavor” shared Dr. Asrat.
