Christian Relief Services (USA) and the University of Gondar are working on behalf of Pwds
The partnership between Christian Relief Services (USA) and the University of Gondar’s CBR Program has shown some practical results.

The non-profit organizations Joni and Friends (JAF) and Christian Relief Services (USA) have donated the University of Gondar wheelchairs and other mobility equipment (walkers, canes, and crutches) as donated goods. The University of Gondar plans to distribute these goods to the people affected by various disabilities, having the following major stakeholders: the UoG CBR program (West, Central, and North Gondar Zone targets), the Missionary of Charity, St. Rafael School for the Blind, the University of Gondar Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, and the Occupational Therapy department.

The donations have been made by the mutual agreement of the University of Gondar and the Christian Relief Services (USA). The university has acknowledged the donor organizations in general and Christian Relief Services’ primary contact Bethlehem Tessema in particular for their respective contributions and commitments. It has been said that the donation is an immense contribution to the war-affected hospital and the community at large.
