The Emirates College of Science and Technology gives a leadership training and signs a Memorandum of Understanding with UoG
Being a leader requires traits that are analytical, compassionate, strict and even methodical at times. It should be mentioned that not all people are born leaders, but all people can learn how to interact substantially with others which will create a new character within them.

With that exact focus in mind, Hassan M. Ibrahim, who is from the Emirates College of Science and Technology, trained staff members about various good and bad traits to have and not to have while dealing with people. The title of the training ‘The Art of Dealing with People’ was informative as well as eye opening.
Organizer of the event Mr. Worku Abebe, an Informatics faculty member, various higher officials in the University hierarchy, from the Academic Vice President and current delegate to the President, Dr. Asrat Atsedeweyn, deans and directors were present to gain insight into new leadership techniques.
Emirates College of Sciecnes and Techology, which is based in Sudan, sent a delegation to the University of Gondar. The Dean of the Emirates College Prof. Saif Eldin Fattoh, the Academic Affairs Director Dr. Babiker Mahjoub Mussa, the External Relations Director Mr. Hassan Mohamed Ibrahim and others promised to strengthen ties with the University of Gondar.
The University of Gondar and the Emirates College of Science and Technology also signed a Memorandum of Understanding that encompassed staff exchange, student exchange, cooperative research and other intricate matters.
When completed the two university representatives who signed the MoU, Dr. Asrat Atsedeweyn and Prof. Saif Eldin Fattoh Osman Yasin, pledged to work together in the near future and to reinforce ties between the two educational institutions. The agreement that was signed has a 5 year duration.
