Key Note Address at the EPHA 25th Anniversary Conference
Professor Mengesha Admassu, President of the University of Gondar delivered a key note address at the Ethiopian Public Health Association’s 25th Anniversary conference held on the 20th of February 2014 at the African Union.

Addressing a distinguished audience including H.E.Dr. Kesetebirhan Admasu, Minister of Health Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and members of Ethiopia’s public health professionals, Professor Mengesha spoke about the field of public health in the country, past present and future and drawing on our own experiences and challenges as one of the country’s pioneer public health institutions.
The conference was attended by a large number of the University’s alumni, including a number of graduates of the Public Health College and
Training Center. The University’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Promotion team also organised a special Diamond Jubilee Celebrations stand. The team gave participants information about the upcoming celebrations and also registered over 200 alumni who expressed their interests to attend the Special Diamond Jubilee Alumni Graduation set to take place on the 5th of July 2014.
