International Research grant winner of 2020 from Laerdal Foundation entitled with “Effectiveness of 2016 WHO eight-contact ANC model intervention for improving maternal and newborn outcomes, health in Ethiopia: Quasi-experimental study” (42,000 USD) International confederation of midwives (ICM) research grant award winner 2018 (7,000 USD) Grant winner of research and community service of 2014 granted by University of Gondar by NEPI-I-CAP project I am recognized as “midwife hero 2020” by the Ethiopian Midwives Association and St. Paul's Hospital Millennium-SPHMMC for my contributions to safe motherhood services in Ethiopia.
