Team Training Program orientation is being provided to health students
The first round of the field work experience entitled Team Training Program (TTP) started with an orientation for students. Those students from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Gondar had an insightful induction ceremony at Science Amba’s Auditorium on April 02, 2021.
Dr. Ashenafi Tazebew who is the CEO of UoG’s Comprehensive General Specialized Hospital, spoke on the occasion and advised the students to serve the community with love and loyalty and to fulfill their mission of completing the course project with determination.
Afterwards, Tesfaye Hambissa, Coordinator the Team Training Program (TTP), presented the students with the ethics of the use of time and general duration guidelines of the program. Professor Amsalu Feleke, Founder of the Team Training Program at UoG, and who is a senior Professor at the institution, explained the historical background, purpose, process and implementation of the program to the eager participants. Based on their years of experience in strategy, evaluation, and practice, the organizers presented their essays to the students which were of relevance for them to grasp the ins and outs of the work they would do. Once completed the students will be engaging in all sorts of activities that will be beneficial to their society.
The students will go to their designated areas starting April 7, 2021.
