In 2016 a group of faculty from the University of Gondar formed a committee to organize and write out a proposal to the State of Israel about the cultural significance of an Israeli museum in Gondar. The committee finished its work and the aforementioned proposal was sent by the then Prime Minister who was visiting the country. Now almost 3 years later UoG is excited to hear that its commitment and concepts are coming to life.
