UoG conducted a Virtual Grant Writing Training
The training was organized by the College of Business and Economics and it was open to all academic staff from the University of Gondar. Dr. Demis Alamirew, Vice dean of the College shared key statistics of the university and the college and officially opened the program.
The organizer of the WEBINAR and Coordinator of the college’s community service office, Dr. Wassie Getahun expressed his appreciation to the participants and stated that, the training is pertinent to the academic faculty at UoG by enhancing their knowledge and skills. He also shared that it would help them to prepare a winning research proposal for external grants.
The training was delivered by Prof. Alemayehu Molla, a renowned researcher and academician from RMIT University and more than 28 staff and postgraduate students from different departments participated in the training and expressed their satisfaction with the overall training.
Prof. Alemayehu Molla, is the Director of the Doctoral Training Centre and leader of the Disruptive Technology and Smart Mobility research cluster, RMIT University. In addition to this, he has a proven track record to attract research funding (over a million Australian Dollars); has published in top-tier information systems journals (more than 150 articles, cited nearly 7000 times with Google Scholar h-index of 42) and supervised PhDs to completion (15).
